New airport restaurant touts a ‘farm-to-terminal’ experience
Sunset Loop Bar & Grill aims to celebrate Denver’s food culture.
A new dining concept coming to Denver International Airport aims to bring the best of the city’s food culture right to travelers.
Sunset Loop Bar & Grill, debuting in 2024, will offer healthy, locally sourced cuisine with the help of Denver-based chef Daniel Young, who has served as the personal chef of the Denver Nuggets basketball team for more than 15 years.
The concept will feature a design scheme inspired by the Denver sunset and a tile mural that depicts local hiking trails. A bar with 30-plus seats will offer regionally inspired cocktails as well as a rotating list of Colorado craft brews.
A selection of Colorado beers will be on tap at the bar.
Sunset Loop will also be home to a 67-foot market where travelers can pick up a variety of to-go items.
"OTG is passionate about introducing new culinary concepts that echo the airport's sense-of-place and serve as a true extension of the community's food scene," said Rick Blatstein, CEO of hospitality company OTG, which will oversee Sunset Loop and an adjacent Starbucks location. "We are excited to partner with local community organizations and celebrate the chefs, farmers, brewers and purveyors that have turned Denver into the mecca of culinary innovation that it is today.”
