Travelers passing through Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) will soon have four new dining options to choose from while they wait for a flight.

The new concepts will be located in the airport’s Concourse G, which recently underwent a renovation and debuted 43,000 square feet of revamped dining and retail space.

Diners looking for something fresh and healthy can head to fast casual Crisp & Green, which serves up bowls, smoothies and salads, while those seeking more of a sit-down experience can visit Mill City Tavern, which returns to the airport after a three-year break.

The latter concept, which overlooks the airfield, offers dishes such as roasted cauliflower and grilled ribeye, and wild rice-crusted walleye. It also serves a selection of beer and spirits that highlights local producers.

In addition, Poppy’s Bagels and Custom Burger are two separate concepts that will operate out of the same venue. As its name implies, Poppy’s Bagels sells a range of bagels and toppings through 10:30 a.m., at which time the space transforms into Custom Burger, which offers a variety of burgers, including one topped with cheese curds.

“We’re excited to continue our expansion at MSP by introducing new concepts that are a direct reflection of Minneapolis’ thriving local restaurant scene and employ a forward-thinking approach to optimizing the terminal space,” says Rick Blatstein, CEO of OTG, which runs foodservice at the airport.
