As of mid-October, the Happy Meal purchased on April 10 of this year by Manhattan artist Sally Davies continues to show no signs of decay (though consumption at this point is not recommended). Davies purchased the popular menu combo from a local McDonald's, placed it on a room temperature shelf and decided to photograph it daily to document its disintegration.

Much to her surprise, it hasn't. Yeah, the fries have gotten somewhat shriveled and the burger patty and bun look a bit desiccated. But after six months, there is still no visible sign of mold or rotting. It is hard as a rock, though, Davies reports.
