Arch West, inventor of the Dorito chip, passed away recently at the ripe old age of 97 (who says junk food is bad for you?) To honor his life, friends and family buried his remains (in an urn after cremation) and, instead of the traditional flowers, tossed handfuls of the snack food he bequeathed to the world into his grave instead.
So now, Arch Wood will spend eternity surrounded by stray Doritos chips, just like college students do in their dorm rooms. Very a propos, Just Desserts believes, given that college students are probably among Doritos' best customers.
Makes you wonder how they buried Col. Sanders…
