FM is looking for innovative, out-of-the-box, forward-thinking concepts that it could recognize with a 2008 FM Best Concept Award. Winners will be featured in the August issue and get to receive their trophies in front of their peers at the FM IDEAS Conference in Las Vegas in October.

Best Concept awards are presented in multiple categories encompassing all the different aspects of managing an onsite foodservice. When evaluating entries, FM's editors look for innovation, original thought and operational results rather than simply scope or scale, so the size of your operation doesn't matter. Nor does the segment in which you operate.

A Best Concept winner can be a low-cost initiative that innovatively streamlines the lunch rush in a low-budget environment or a major menu program developed by a major contract management firm with significant resources.

For directions on how to enter and for an entry form, go to www.food-management.com. There is no charge for entry.

The deadline is May 31.
