Users can scan menus and see a nutritional breakdown of the items. Compass Group has introduced a mobile dining app for customers of the foodservice facilities it manages in North America.

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. — Compass Group has introduced a mobile dining app for customers of the foodservice facilities it manages in North America.

The app enables customers to peruse menus via their phones and tablets and get a nutritional profile of the items they find. Promotions, specials and such fundamental information as hours of operation are also provided.

Customers can also use the app to give feedback to the facilities.

The company said it plans to expands the functions to include remote ordering and a loyalty rewards program.
