Aramark launches Aramark Student Nutrition
The company’s K-12 brand revamp includes new menu items and promotions, as well as a new concept for middle schoolers.
Aramark is rebranding its K-12 division just before the start of the new school year.
Now known as Aramark Student Nutrition, the refreshed brand will introduce new menu items, such as harvest grain bowls, and will also hold at least two monthly events for holidays, spirit days, themes and national food days starting this fall.
The foodservice management company has also formed a Student Culinary Alliance as part of the revamp, which is comprised of 11 Aramark chefs who collaborate to create new menu items for the K-12 space.
This school year, Aramark Student Nutrition will focus on electronic food carts, mini food trucks, expanding locally sourced ingredients in dishes and more. It also plans to launch LunchPad, a new dining concept for middle school students.
“Our goal for the new school year is to provide a stellar dining experience for our communities. Simply returning to a pre-pandemic atmosphere isn’t enough—we don’t want to return to normal; we want better than normal,” Aramark Student Nutrition President Barbara Flanagan said in a statement. “As part of our continual drive for excellence, we decided it was time to find a reflective name and refreshed graphic identity to impart the passion we have for holistic student wellness.”
