Aladdin Campus Dining has launched a sports nutrition program geared towards student athletes and other active students.

Under Fueled by BeWell, which was created by registered dietician nutritionists, students receive nutrition education, special menu items, a personalized nutrition plan and more.

The new program has already been implemented at several campuses. At Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Mo., for example, dieticians worked with the school’s athletic director to develop pre-game dinners and to-go options for athletes.

Fueled by BeWell has also made its way to Columbia College in Columbia, Mo., where students have been introduced to athletic-enhancing menu items on their salad bar, such as a beet and apple salad. And at Bowie State University in Bowie, Md., students were treated to a healthy cooking demonstration by the campus executive chef, during which they learned how to make arugula salad and pan-seared salmon.
