The USDA has extended three nationwide waivers to allow school foodservice operators to continue to feed students while keeping themselves and students and their families safe.

The noncongregate feeding waiver, meal times waiver and parent pickup waiver have all been extended to August 31, 2020.

These waivers allow school meals to be served in a grab-and-go format and allow operators to serve more than one meal at a time. Parents and guardians can also pick up the meals without their children being present.
