After expanding a dining program exclusively for seniors to one that addresses all ages, meals provided through DPC Community Center in Cottage Grove, Minn., will now be prepared by cafeteria staff at a local alternative high school, swcbulletin.com reports.

Offerings will come from the same menu provided to students, and will include healthier choices such as fresh fruit and salads, says Wendy Tracy, nutrition services director for School District 833. Meals were previously provided by a community services program for seniors.

The meals are slated to be served every weekday from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m., even when school is not in session, and will cost $4 per person.
