Tilapia and basil are two items students at Granville High School could soon see on the lunch menu, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

The school houses a small tilapia farm and garden, as well as a composting system, which was developed by Granville senior Chris Carlson as an independent study.

According to Carlson, he hopes the system will heat the tanks through the winter so that the fish will grow large enough to eat. If all goes well, officials say the item could be on lunch menus by spring.
