Bucyrus Community Hospital is helping Bucyrus High School provide school lunches while the school’s food preparation capacities are limited by extensive renovations, reports the Bucyrus Telegraph-Forum. The menu has not seen much of a change, however. The high school kitchen continues to prepare hot entrees, though there is now only one rather than the several available before. However, cold foods and wraps now come from the hospital’s kitchen. Bucyrus High is also using some extra coolers and freezers salvaged from the renovation of a middle school to provide extra storage during the transition period. Renovations are expected to be completed by November 10. Both foodservice operations are managed by Sodexo.
