High school uses QR codes in cafeteria as COVID safety measure

Paul V. Moore High School in Central Square, N.Y., has begun using QR codes in the cafeteria as an extra COVID-19 safety precaution, Local SYR reports.

Before sitting down to eat, students scan a QR code, one of which is located at each seat. The code then brings up a form for the student to fill out their name, table and seat number.

If an outbreak occurs, faculty and staff are able to use the forms to quickly find out which students may have been exposed to COVID.
