Houston Methodist hospital system in Texas will require all of its employees to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, Bloomberg reports.
In an email to hospital managers this week, Chief Executive Officer Marc Boom said that managers have until mid-April to receive at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. He did not designate a deadline for other employees. A FAQ attached to the email said that religious or medical exemptions would be allowed in rare cases.
According to Boom’s email, around 95% of managers and about 86% of employees have already received a COVID-19 vaccine.
