Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., has started a food pharmacy program to help patients who are experiencing food insecurity, Fox 13 Memphis reports.

The hospital partnered with a local food bank to launch the program. Upon admittance to the hospital, patients are screened for food insecurity. Those found to be food insecure are given a box of food to take home when they’re discharged.

Hospital officials say they’ve already handed out over 100 boxes since the program began.
