IFMA names 2021 Silver Plate Award winners

One of the winners will also receive the Gold Plate Award during IFMA’s 67th annual Gold and Silver Plate Awards celebration, which will take place virtually in September.

The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) has announced the recipients of its 2021 Silver Plate Awards, which recognize talented individuals in the foodservice industry. 

Four of the nine winners are from the noncommercial sector. Those four honorees, listed by their respective segments, are:

Healthcare: 

Antoinette "Toni" Watkins, director of system nutrition at Riverside Health System in Newport News, Va.

K-12: 

Dani Sheffield, executive director of child nutrition services at Aldine Independent School District in Houston. 

C&U: 

Steve Mangan, senior director of dining services at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.

B&I:

Scott Davis, CEO of FLIK Hospitality

One of the Silver Plate Award winners will also receive the Golden Plate Award, IFMA’s highest honor, at the 67th annual Gold & Silver Plate Awards Celebration, which will take place virtually on Sept. 14.
