N.Y. foodservice director honored with top FAME award

Mark Bordeau, senior director of foodservices for Broome-Tioga Board of Cooperative Educational Services in Binghamton, N.Y., has been named the 2020 recipient of the Golden School Foodservice Director of the Year Award, the top honor from the Foodservice Achievement Management Excellence (FAME) Awards.

Other FAME winners for 2020 include: Aaron Wylie, director of child nutrition for Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District in Fort Worth, Texas; Shonia Hall, associate director of school nutrition services for Oklahoma Public Schools in Oklahoma City; and Kathlyn Walter, school nutrition program supervisor for Putnam County Schools in Cookeville, Tenn.

Winners will be honored at a January event held alongside the School Nutrition Association’s 2020 School Nutrition Industry Conference.
