When I talk with the administrators about why I need funds to buy equipment, I take photos of the old equipment and attach it to the proposal. Most of the time they have never seen the equipment and with the picture they can see just how bad of a shape some of it is in. It’s easy to ask, “do you really need new equipment,” but it’s hard to say no when you see it.,
