The new East Side Dining center at Stony Brook University combines an a la carte retail side with an all-you-care-to-eat dine-in side that includes a takeout option so students can leave and eat with friends purchasing food from the retail section. The facility includes five concepts on the retail side, including a halal food station, plus an emporium with packaged and hot foods. The all-you-care-to-eat side has seven stations, including a vegan bar and campus dining services provider Sodexo’s Simple Servings food-allergen-free concept.
