Providence College’s renovated eatery lets students be the chef

At Raymond Dining Hall’s "UCook" station, students are given ingredients to prepare their own meals.

The Sodexo team at Providence College in Providence, R.I., has renovated its dining hall to include a station where students can cook their own meals, The Providence Journal reports.

The recently renovated Raymond Dining Hall features a "UCook" station where students are given a protein, fresh vegetables, spices, grains and sauces and then cook their meal themselves.

The station is also able to host chef demonstrations.
