Unidine Corp. has completed the acquisition and integration of Boston-based FAME Food Management, Inc., an acquisition that extends the company's services into the government and education sectors while adding to its business in healthcare, senior living and corporate dining. FAME's portfolio of clients in Massachusetts, Washington, D.C. and Maryland includes the U.S. Government Publishing Office, Transportation Safety Administration, the John Carroll School, Mass Bay Community College and Bristol Community College.

"FAME's market and geographic penetration, along with a shared commitment to exceptional service and customized culinary experiences, serve as a perfect complement to Unidine's expanding portfolio," explains Unidine Founder/CEO Richard Schenkel. "We are laser focused on revolutionizing what was once simply known as institutional dining to meet the expectations of today's consumers while serving our clients' business objectives."

FAME Culinary Group will continue to operate as a separate corporate entity in the Unidine portfolio, which now includes a Healthcare Culinary Group, Senior Living Culinary Group and Corporate Culinary Group.
