The University of Tennessee has agreed to a five-year contract with Sodexho to run concessions operations at all its athletics venues beginning in the 2007-08 school year, reports the Chattanoogan. Previously, the athletics department managed concessions. Among the changes the company is contemplating for the upcoming football season at UT’s Neyland Stadium is increasing the number of cashiers at each stand to alleviate congestion, simplifying menus, making the most popular menu items available at all stands and bringing in national branded concepts. The contract is Sodexho’s 47th with Division I college sports programs.
