Chef Remmi Smith, a 12-year-old aspiring chef from Tulsa whom Sodexo named its first-ever Student Ambassador to Health and Nutrition earlier this year, is now bringing a new kid-level perspective and nutrition education to cultural destinations. Over Labor Day weekend, Chef Remmi hosted a cooking demonstration for parents and kids at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, demonstrating fun recipes and offering tips on healthy snacking. The Museum broke its Labor Day attendance record thanks, at least in part, to the event.

Already a champion of student nutrition and wellness through social media/digital media channels and her “Cook Time with Remmi” online and TV show, Chef Remmi is working closely with Sodexo to help students get excited about good nutrition with appearances around the country.
