In an effort to improve the dining experience at Troy University, Sodexo—the university’s foodservice vendor—has rolled out a new program called Mystery Shoppers, reports the Tropolitan.

Student participants dine at on-campus restaurants and dining halls at various scheduled times and use their ID cards for purchases as they would normally to remain anonymous, officials say. They then offer feedback on the experiences via scorecards.

The program, which was piloted for one month last fall, will run the entire spring semester.

“Mystery shopping gives sporadic checks of our dining services, and it gets the student body involved,” said Sheetal Nangia, marketing manager for Troy Dining Services.
