Sage Dining Services, Inc., has promoted Vice President Marcel Gallo to COO. For the past nine years, Gallo had overseen Sage's operations in the Northeast region and the current appointment expands his oversight to all of North America.

"Sage is very excited to have an individual of Marcel's talent, dedication and creativity in this new role," says Sage President Paco Rodriguez. "We believe strongly in building an outstanding management team so Sage will continue to deliver exceptional service to all our clients."

A CIA graduate, Gallo has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant and dining service industries, serving in back-of-the-house, operations, and executive capacities.

"I'm humbled by the opportunity to lead this incredible organization," he says. "Sage's dedication to quality, integrity and service is unfailing. I'm excited to expand our vision and pursue the highest level of excellence in the private education environment."

Replacing Gallo as Regional Manager for the Northeast will be Michael Francis, who until recently, was a District Manager for Aramark. "My passion is dining service in the education environment," says Francis. "I'm excited to work for an organization that shares my goal of bringing exquisite food and outstanding service to the independent school market."

"With Marcel, Mike, and the entire team, we're confident Sage will continue its strong growth well into the future," says Rodriguez.
