Cheeky investment analysis site Motley Fool recently analyzed Aramark's impending initial stock offering, asking "Is the Third Time IPO the Charm for This Food Sector Stock?" since this planned IPO is the third (the "dessert" in Motley Fool's three-course-meal characterization of Aramark's historic behavior) in the company's 55-year history.

The analysis compares Aramark's business with several other recent foodservice industry players such as restaurant chains Noodles & Co. and Potbelly, noting that by comparison Aramark is "a veteran niche firm with skinny margins (under one percent net this past fiscal year), steady top line growth, and reliable profitability." The IPO "looks well priced to bounce," the analysis concludes.
