Metz Culinary Management has added Jack Brill as vice president of business development for the company’s Southern accounts, which include clients in healthcare, long term care, colleges, universities and independent schools. His primary focus will be the state of Florida, home to Metz’s new Sarasota-based Southern Division Corporate Office. The company currently has more than 160 food service and environmental service accounts in 14 states.

“Jack will help us in our commitment to continue to grow the Florida market and surrounding area for all segments of the business,” says President/CEO Jeffrey Metz. “His addition to our team is a huge benefit for managing our current clients throughout the South. He will look to expand our presence in this area while enhancing the quality of our services. We very much look forward to having him aboard.”

Brill has more than 25 years of experience in the retail and foodservice industry. He has worked with multinational food corporations, independently owned family-run operations and military programs in addition to owning and operating two foodservice companies. Past responsibilities also include national sales management, sales force training and distributor program selling.

“I’m thrilled to join the Metz Culinary Management team and feel that we have services that are uniquely qualified for the South,” Brill says. “As company founder and Executive Chairman John C. Metz told me, ‘When we get a new client, they don’t become part of us, we become part of them.’ That kind of dedicated service will persevere in this area.”
