Guckenheimer has announced two executive appointments to head its expanding Southwest region, which includes Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Denver and St. Louis. Rex Roe was appointed vice president of operations and Len Cerasoli was named director of sales, both effective immediately.

Roe had served as vice president of special projects for Guckenheimer before leaving in 2005. He had spent 21 years at LSG Sky Chefs in business development for the in-flight food market and is credited with introducing innovations such as “Buy on Board” and integrating restaurant brands to enrich the in-flight dining experience.

Cerasoli joins Guckenheimer from Unidine, where he was responsible for business development in the Mid–Atlantic region. Previously, he was a general manager, district general manager and then regional sales director at Sodexo for 18 years, where he consistently ranked among the top sales performers in the division and twice honored as Salesperson of the Year. He then went on to own and operate several Five Guys locations throughout the Southeast, and the franchises under his leadership were consistently ranked in the top 10 percent for the popular chain.

In 2012, Guckenheimer generated $235 million in sales and operated at 325 locations, almost all of them in the corporate dining segment. It opened 25 new client locations nationally last year and says plans to open more than 45 this year.
