Steve Postal, Aramark's executive chef at Fenway Park in Boston, was among the final three contestants on Bravo's recent "Around the World in 80 Plates" competition. Postal, nicknamed "Nookie," beat out nine fellow elite chefs from around the globe, before falling short in the final episode.

The contestants traveled to 10 countries in 40 days, where they learned the local customs, cultures, and cuisines and participated in various culinary challenges. Although a chef was voted off at the end of each episode, Postal's skills proved to enough to make it to the final international challenge where he was eliminated.

"It was truly an amazing experience," says Postal, who earned his culinary degree from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. "I'm beyond thankful for the opportunity to take part in such a unique journey."

Hired by Aramark at Fenway Park in 2006, Postal is best known for his time working under Ana Sortun at Oleana in Cambridge. After helping to open Oleana as sous chef, Postal's culinary career took off, with his resume now boasting experiences at some of Boston's most elite restaurants as well as one of its most famous ballparks.

"We are extremely proud of Chef Nookie for making it to the top three on the show," says Marc Bruno, president of ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment. "With the skills he's picked up around the globe, Chef Nookie will continue to deliver world class experiences for hungry fans at Fenway Park and will have a great story to tell his guests."
