With the National Hockey League and National Basketball Association playoffs underway, Aramark has announced a partnership with six teams competing for their respective sports’ championships.

For its Playoff Sandwich Series, the foodservice vendor will bring a signature sandwich to the home arenas of the Cleveland Cavaliers (Quicken Loans Arena), San Antonio Spurs (AT&T Center), Philadelphia Flyers (Wells Fargo Center), Washington Capitals (Verizon Center), Pittsburgh Penguins (CONSOL Energy Center) and San Jose Sharks (SAP Center). The six offerings include a pork belly and shrimp taco, chicken Parmesan sandwich with spicy tomato sauce and an 18-hour house-smoked brisket with bourbon BBQ sauce, according to a release.

"With the hockey and basketball post-seasons coinciding with the arrival of spring, this is the ideal time to introduce a line of signature sandwiches that showcase the wide variety of seasonal tastes and flavors of each region," Robert Flowers, Aramark’s regional executive chef, said in a news release.
