Aramark has signed a 30-year deal to provide food, beverage, and retail merchandise services for Citi Field, the new home of the New York Mets scheduled to open in April 2009. Under terms of the agreement, Aramark will be the exclusive concessionaire managing all concessions, retail stores, kiosks as well as luxury suites, clubs, and a specialty restaurant for the 45,000-seat ballpark. The company has been concessionnaire for the Mets at their current home in Shea Stadium since 1995. In all, Aramark manages concessions and other services at 15 Major League Baseball ballparks.
