Tap into maple's appealing vibes with these soft, fluffy cupcakes.

Ingredients

7 cups water

5 lb. box Gold Medal Yellow Cake Mix

8 oz. pancake syrup

1 Tbsp. maple extract

1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon

3 1/4 cups Gold Medal Ready-to-Spread Vanilla Creme Icing

Steps

  1. Prepare cupcake batter according to package directions, adding pancake syrup, maple extract and cinnamon in step 3.

  2. Deposit #40 scoop of batter into greased or paper-lined mini muffin pans.

  3. Bake as directed below and allow to cool completely.

  4. To finish: Heat icing in microwave until melted. Dip tops of cooled cupcakes into icing and serve.
