In an effort to appeal to sports fans seeking more elevated game-day fare, Aramark is rolling out 13 new sandwiches at nine NHL and NBA arenas.

The between-the-bun offerings will make their debut this week in conjunction with National Sandwich Day on Nov. 3.

Added options, each of which is available at one to three arenas, include:

  • Hand carved turkey "ham": bourbon- and honey-smoked turkey breast; grilled peach barbecue sauce; Brussels sprout and sweet potato hash; and caramelized onions

  • Pulled pork Cuban-style sandwich: pulled pork, pickled jalapeno slaw, pineapple chutney, Dijon mustard, Swiss cheese and sliced ham

  • Wild mushroom grilled cheese: roasted wild mushrooms; Gouda, cheddar and provolone cheeses; caramelized shallot; tomato chutney; and herbs

  • Capital City lamb burger: lamb burger with provolone cheese, tomato relish and pesto mayonnaise

Aramark says it serves more than 6 million NHL and NBA fans each athletic season.
