Aramark Student Nutrition aims to get young diners engaged with new video series
The ACE Show will educate elementary students on healthy eating through games, short video clips and more.
Aramark Student Nutrition has launched a new nutrition education video series for young eaters.
Named The ACE Show, the program aims to educate elementary students on nutrition and healthy eating through games, short video clips, mindful moments and multiple choice questions.
The series will be hosted by Aramark Student Nutrition’s longtime mascot ACE the Fox and will cover eight nutrition themes, including Helpful Habits, Snack Smart and Healthy Hydration.
“We chose this digital evolution for ACE because the format appeals to kids in a way they are willing to pay attention,” said Stacy Gellman, director of marketing for Aramark Student Nutrition, in a statement. “Kids are used to getting content in videos, so it helps us deliver health and wellness information with the biggest impact.”
Educators will be able to receive lesson plans for each of the episodes and students can earn achievement certificates through the video series as well.
This is the latest initiative Aramark Student Nutrition has introduced this school year. Earlier in the fall, it launched SN Insights 360, a program designed to facilitate feedback from students about their cafeteria experience through surveys, in-cafe evaluations, action committees, focus groups, customer journey mapping and tasting events.
