Furloughed dining workers at Pomona College in Claremont, Calif., are returning to work part time to provide meals to 180 seniors in the area who are homebound due to the pandemic, The Student Life reports

Employees will be responsible for preparing and packaging breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals will be picked up twice a week and then delivered to seniors’ homes. 

The staff will be paid their regular wages and will work through the end of the year.
