Washington Gov. Jay Inslee has announced a COVID-19 vaccination mandate for all K-12 and higher-education employees in the state.

Workers will have until Oct. 18, 2021, to be fully vaccinated.

The state joins the city of Denver in requiring COVID-19 vaccines for employees in K-12 and higher education. California has also issued its own K-12 vaccine mandate.
