The School Nutrition Association (SNA) and the United Fresh Produce Association have partnered to help school nutrition teams around the country get greater access to fresh produce during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two associations are helping produce distributers and fresh-cut processors get in contact with schools that would like to include single-serve, individually wrapped packs of fresh produce in grab-and-go meals for students.

The SNA and United Fresh would also like to set up a webinar that would spotlight schools that are including fresh produce in grab-and-go meals and discuss how the produce distribution community can support school nutrition teams at this time.
