The Dutchmen Freeze - Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa. (Metz Culinary Management)
Influenced by the ingredients of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups invented “right up the road in Hershey … it just happens that our Dutchman loves a good cold iced beverage, a strong coffee, hazelnut, caramel, chocolate and whipped cream,” says Bill Allman, general manager for Metz Culinary Management at Lebanon. “Put them all together and you have The Dutchman Freeze.” Known as the “Flying Dutchmen,” Lebanon’s sports teams are named for the historic Pennsylvania Dutch Country in which the college is located.
Key Lime Pie (Key Lag Pie) - Stanford University
Lakeside Dining Hall is located by Lake Lagunita, known as Lake Lag. One of the two dormitories that the dining hall serves is Lagunita Court (or Lag for short).
Mango Peach Smoothie - Saint Clare's Health System, Denville, N.J., and Dover, N.J.
The combination of mangoes, peaches, yogurt and agave make this smoothie a sweet summertime treat.

Creamy peanut butter and soy milk combine to make a healthy smoothie, great for K-12 operations.
WaterWorks: Cucumber Mint - Flik Independent School Dining, Rye Brook, New York
Cucumber Mint is a signature WaterWorks flavor that is popular in Flik’s schools, particularly upper schools. Flik often hears that this simple recipe is refreshing and provides students and faculty with an energizing “lift.”
Red Grape Lavender Soda - Chef Scott Samuel, Culinary Institute of America/Greystone, St. Helena, California. Courtesy of California Table Grape Commission
Housemade carbonated soft drinks are as trendsetting as today’s cocktails, relying on fresh ingredients and exotic flavors to ramp them up. Here, chef Samuel creates a grape base infused with lavender, lime juice and honey that can be made ahead and chilled, then mixed with club soda for an instant sparkling refresher.
Caramel Mocha Recipe - Cherry Creek School District
Spice up your beverage selection with this semi-sweet Caramel Mocha Recipe. Due to limited time and high volume, Cherry Creek uses the all in one Franke Pura machine and designed this recipe the way the staff had to program it in the machine.
