To promote the culinary aspects of the U.S. Open tennis tournament, the United States Tennis Association and event concessionaire Levy Restaurants are taking a food truck around New York City with free samples of a daily rotation of different offerings (although the signature U.S. Open lobster roll remains a constant), reports ThePostGame.com. The truck has scheduled stops at high-profile venues like Madison Square Park, Union Square Par and Bryant Park. Among the attractions, aside from the food, which is drawn from the menus at Levy's various dining outlets at the Open, are celebrity chefs like David Burke, Masaharu Morimoto and Tony Mantuano. On August 11, Burke, who oversees the Champions Bar & Grill at the Open, served his filet slider with cracked pepper and onion marmalade out of the food truck aside Levy VP Jennifer Cox.
