INGREDIENTS:24 large plum tomatoes
¼ cup onions, minced
6 Tbsps. garlic, minced
½ cup olive oil
1 cup blanched sliced almonds
1 cup almonds, roasted crushed
½ cup fresh bread crumbs
2 Tbsps dried basil leaves
1 Tbsp. dried oregano
2 cups Parmesan cheese, gratedDIRECTIONS:1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut tomatoes in half using a small knife to create a zigzag pattern. Arrange on sheet or broiler pans.

2. In a large skillet, sauté onions and garlic in hot oil until tender. Add sliced almonds, crushed almonds, bread crumbs, basil and oregano. Cook, stirring five minutes.

3. Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Add Parmesan cheese and toss to mix.
