The Henderson (TX) Independent School District has too much money in its food service fund balance, reports the Henderson Daily News. Superintendent Keith Boles reported to district trustees that the fund balance is nearly $1 million, which is about twice as much as federal school lunch program regulations allow. The balance will have to be drawn down by being used on foodservice-related projects.
