Three students competed using recipes they submitted.

Elyria City School District in Elyria, Ohio, hosted a cooking competition with some of its students, The Chronicle reports.
Three fifth graders competed using recipes they submitted. The dishes were judged by various staff in the district. Due to COVID-19, all participants kept their distance from each other while wearing masks and no live audience was present during the competition.
Danica Knepper prepared the winning dish of enchiladas and received $75 for her school account and a chef’s hat.
