Klamath County School District in Klamath Falls, Ore., is hosting a “Count Down to Crunch” event this week in honor of National Farm-to-School Month, Herald and News reports

Over 1,800 Klamath County students will get to enjoy locally grown greens with their lunch as part of the event. The district will also be hosting a Zoom party to allow other community members to participate with their own locally sourced meals. 

School districts across the country have been celebrating National Farm-to-School Month though events like virtual farm-to-table dinners and special menu items like scratch-made chicken noodle soup featuring local produce
