As school nutrition teams rapidly switch over to grab-and-go meal sites due to the spread of COVID-19, outside companies and organizations are working to provide resources to help K-12 operators with the transition. Here is a list of places that are offering help. FoodService Director will keep this list up to date as often as possible. 

No Kid Hungry 

Nonprofit No Kid Hungry is offering emergency grants to school districts impacted by COVID-19. Learn more about the grants and apply for one here.

Nutrislice 

Digital menu company Nutrislice is offering its preorder and pickup services for free to school districts for a limited time. Read more about what they’re doing and contact them here.

Meals Plus 

Meals Plus, a software management company, is helping school districts set up online ordering and pickup capabilities for free until the end of the school year. Learn more and reach out to them here.
