Cincinnati Public Schools is teaming up with the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden to celebrate National School Lunch Week (NSLW), which takes place next week.

In honor of the 2021 NSLW theme, “Wild About School Lunch,” teachers and students can log onto the district’s Facebook page or Youtube channel and watch a 15-minute video featuring an animal at the zoo enjoying healthy foods that are also available in the lunch line at school.

During the videos, zoo staff will also answer questions submitted by students ahead of time.

A new video will be available each day beginning Monday, Oct. 11 through Thursday, Oct. 14. On Friday, Oct. 15, the school district’s superintendent will host a Facebook Live featuring Fiona the hippo.
