An organic salad will be offered daily at all Chicago Public School sites as part of a contract with Aramark, which takes over management of dining services for the 400,000-student district this year.

High schoolers will get an organic salad blend and K-8 students assorted organic chef salads, according to posted menus on the district site. Breakfast will also be served daily at both elementary and secondary sites. High schools will feature branded station concepts such as Corner Crust Original Pizza, Custom Bros. Grill Co. and Green Street Deli from Aramark's U.B.U Lounge school nutrition platform, while elementaries will have up to three entree choices daily plus the salad.
