The Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) reported these correlations in a recent report on breakfast in the classroom, which looked at participation in the School Breakfast Program among low-income children in the last school year. On an average day, nearly 12.5 million low-income students participated in the program, a number that’s been steadily increasing.
