CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Instituted a hospital-wide room service program at MSKCC in 2002, which resulted in the department receiving national recognition for achieving a "Press Ganey" ranking in the 99th percentile for meals for eight consecutive quarters. In 2003, was among the first group to graduate from MSKCC Leadership Institute. Recipient of the Isabelle Hallahan Award in 1997 ¯ The New York State Dietetic Association's highest honor for foodservice excellence.
EDUCATION: BS in Nutrition from City University of New York; Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist with a Masters Degree in Nutrition from New York University
MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT OF MY JOB: Overseeing strategic planning, financial management, employee recruitment and retention, and facility layout, construction and design of the foodservice department.
