The Society for Foodservice Management has released a new promotional video that dramatically and professionally highlights the role business dining plays in supporting the employees and workplaces of America.

First unveiled at the SFM annual conference earlier this month, the video’s theme is “It’s a New Day for Feeding America’s Business Communities. (You can view it here). It also promotes the role SFM plays in providing a professional association for those individuals and companies involved in the B&I segment of the foodservice marketplace.

Incoming SFM President Mark Freeman, senior manager of global employee services for Microsoft Corporation, recently described SFM as  “the community to enhance hospitality in the workplace,” and said the new video was designed to promote that role.

“The SFM board believes this is the essence of the organization,” he added. “Whether as a Client Liaison or in other leadership roles, we are managing a variety of services... Hospitality is a part of our DNA.”
