Rice Hospital Latest to Add Room Service

Rice Memorial Hospital in Houston is the latest hospital to convert its patient dining to a room service model, reports the West Central Tribune. Launched in mid-October, the service is available from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and offers freshly made hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, chef salads, beef stew, soups, fruit and cheese plates and desserts. Delivery is within 45 minutes of placing the order. Rice Hospital’s foodservices are managed by Aramark.
